How to deal with BuzzBox placement in a traditional Warre hive?

The question can apply to either the original or the mini BuzzBox; all of the instructions indicate putting the device in a particular box in the hive, but with traditional Warre hives, the top box(es) leave the hive entirely at harvest, and new boxes are added at the bottom. Where should I put the device? the roof? the base somehow? have to move it every time I add/remove boxes?

Hi @DarlingRakasa,

BuzzBox Mini is designed to be flexible in where it is places, but for best results it should be placed above your main brood chamber (where the queen is). This way it can detect audio below with the queen, and above in the next super. In Winter is should be as close to the cluster as possible.

Hope this helps!
